The same instant is 07:00 UTC. Check the Steam announcement and the installed game version before following a guide labeled for 1.0. A download appearing early or late does not change the version a guide was tested against.
Already own Early Access?
The developer says existing owners receive the full version without an additional purchase. Save compatibility is a separate question and still needs release-build verification. Keep your existing save backed up before updating.
